"Right Here Right Now"

It’s the end of January, 7:52 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Nine inches of snow outside soaking up all sound around, creating a peaceful silence, with nothing but the smell of the coffee pot—set to brew at 7 a.m.—lingering in the air.

Going through my usual morning routine, I found myself pausing every so often to think, life is nice. Nothing could make this morning better. I wouldn’t add more money to my bank account or park a better car in the driveway. I wouldn’t choose a bigger house or even a different cup of coffee than the same brand I drink every single day.

I love this, right here and right now.

Of course, that will change, and someday I’ll feel differently about all of it—but not today. This is it, and I’m always grateful when I catch myself enjoying things exactly as they are. We’re always chasing change, yet when it comes, we often long to go back to the good old times.

Take a moment to appreciate when things align perfectly in a certain moment—don’t wait for your whole life for things to line up perfectly.

So ask yourself..

What’s perfect for you today?
